Looks smart, in a conservative way; well-equipped and roomy.
Still expensive; not as sporty to drive as it looks; quality can be variable; noisy 2.0-litre engine.
An attractive car with a credible junior-executive image, but now dated.

The Bora's attractive interior is inviting, and backed with comfortable seats and a fairly comfortable ride. The car is quiet at speed too, but the 2.0 version is let down by a rather gruff engine. The new PD diesels are quiet and smooth.
For its type, the Bora is reasonably roomy, though rear seat passengers won't find legroom overly generous. Up front, there's plenty of room, and the boot is a large one too. There's plenty of oddments space in the cabin.
Mounted low in the centre console, where it is a bit of a stretch to use, the Bora's radio is easy enough to use and sounds good too. All versions get an RDS traffic information system.
