Even more spacious and practical than before, better to drive and better looking, class-leading safety.
Still a bit on the dull side to look at, badge snobs will look elsewhere.
A brilliant package that's been cleverly evolved into a class leader.

There's a bit more space inside the new Zafira, particularly shoulder room for front and middle-row occupants. Indeed, it is possible for six-foot occupants to occupy all three rows with reasonable comfort, including acceptable legroom. And the Zafira's party trick, the Flex 7 seating that allows the third row of seats to fold perfectly flat with the flick of a lever, is carried over virtually unchanged. And with the middle row of seats folded upright against the front ones, the load-carrying ability of the Zafira is terrific. When in use, the middle row seats also slides fore and aft, allowing a greater choice of accommodation versus load carrying.
Even the most basic Zafira comes with electric windows, power-assisted steering, remote central locking and all but the entry-level 1.6 come with air-con. An extra £850 gets you the panoramic roof, which is worth considering. Those four separate glass panels give the Zafira's cabin a much airier feel, as well as adding a useful selection of overhead storage bins. You'll spot Zafiras so equipped because they sport a raised ridge running down the middle of the roof. It's there so that the interior storage bins don't take up too much headroom. It looks cool, too.
