A particularly pretty shape, rounded but not submissive; great cabin design, lots of space.
Bouncy ride and sloppy handling.
So much better to look at than to drive.

Yes, it's easy, but it's also tedious. The Corsa forgives clumsiness, but it brings everyone down to the same level. This is a good car for those who don't like driving.
Power steering is optional on base Envoy models (and well worth having), and standard on GLS and CDX versions. The switchgear is simple and well-designed, the gearchange is springy, rubbery and long-winded in its action.
There's no finesse to driving a Corsa, and no reward for skilled use of its controls. It's a dull, frustrating drive, although modifications made (by Lotus) to the suspension at the facelift do let signs of flair shine through. Drive the Corsa-based Tigra coupe to see how pleasant the Corsa could be.
Don't expect much pace from the jewel-like, three-cylinder, 1.0 engine (a masterpiece of miniaturisation, incidentally). The 1.2 is sparkier, the 1.4 is bordering on the rapid. They're gruff, but they pull energetically.
