Assets

Improved drive, low emissions, real-world improvement in fuel consumption, clear head-up display.

Verdict

Vastly improved Prius is finally a credible rival to any diesel hatch and the best hybrid money can buy.

Toyota Prius Review

Used Value5 out of 5

Hybrids have found a strong following on the used market, with few buyers scared of the added complexity the Toyota brings.

Off the back of the last model's strong residuals experts are already predicting the third-gen Toyota hybrid will return a fine 49% of its new value after three years and 36,000 miles. That compares well with a Golf diesel that leads the segment and returns up to 50% of its value depending on model.
