A real charmer inside and out, very low running costs, genuine space for four adults, good ride and handling compromise.
Tiny boot, rear seats don't slide, limited colour choice.
A charming little city car that reminds us of the original Citroen 2CV with its character and honest simplicity.

The Aygo, along with its near-identical siblings the 107 and C1, has scored four out of a possible five stars in the EuroNCAP crash tests. This is an excellent result, matching most of the best cars in the higher supermini category, such as the Ford Fiesta, Mini Cooper and VW Polo.
The Aygo uses a safety structure for the cabin that's similar to that of the Avensis and Corolla, both five-star Euro NCAPers. Basically, this structure seeks to dissipate the energy of an impact before the amount of 'survival space' is compromised, which is much more of an issue in such a small car.
ABS, driver and passenger airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts and headlights that claim class-leading illumination are all standard fit on Aygo. Less impressively, you'll have to stump for higher-spec models to gain front side airbags.
