A real charmer inside and out, very low running costs, genuine space for four adults, good ride and handling compromise.
Tiny boot, rear seats don't slide, limited colour choice.
A charming little city car that reminds us of the original Citroen 2CV with its character and honest simplicity.

The Aygo - pronounced i-go - is the smallest Toyota yet to be launched in Europe. Competing in the A-segment along with cars such as the Kia Picanto and Fiat Panda, the Aygo is the result of Toyota's joint venture with Citroen and Peugeot, who have virtually identical models called the C1 and 107. The main differences are the styling at the nose and tail.
This tiny Toyota, which is offered in three or five-door guise, is aimed squarely at the 'yoof' market. Toyota says that the Aygo is an 'incremental' model, or one that'll get people into the brand early, and which will allow them to progress through the Toyota ranks until they climax with a Lexus LS when they reach their fifties. That's just not how people buy cars these days, and one candid insider did suggest that these cars are as much about lowering Toyota's corporate average fuel consumption and emissions as they are about getting trendy young things on board. Still, the marketing bods are wedded to the notion of an ad campaign (and a very expensive one at that) that'll make you feel very old if you're over 30 and still spelling phat with an 'f'.
