Tesla Roadster Review

Comfort and Equipment3 out of 5

The Roadster is by no means a car you'd choose for a jolly jaunt down to the Cote D'Azur. First off, the limited range means the trip would take the best part of a week and, second, the Tesla is no grand tourer. That said it is still a surprisingly comfortable car for day-to-day driving.

Thankfully, the supple ride the Elise is blessed with carries over, but unfortunately the heavier Roadster is prone to more jarring and crashiness.

UK cars gain tyre pressure sensors, traction control, ABS and cruise control as standard as well as a leather interior and the possibility of tailoring the suspension to your individual driving style.

It is unfortunate, considering the Roadster's hefty price tag, that Bluetooth, satnav and a premium radio aren't standard-fit items.
