Suzuki Splash (2008-) Review

Category: Superminis 4 out of 5

Summary of the Suzuki Splash (2008-)

Price Range: £8,995 to £10,845

Assets

Compact but roomy, smooth engines, tidy handling, lively diesel.

Drawbacks

Ride can get fidgety, cabin trim devoid of padding, meagre boot, indicator bleeper might drive you mad.

Verdict

This is a proper supermini-sized supermini, and good value for what you get.

Suzuki Splash Review

Safety and Security3 out of 5

Pairs of front, side and curtain airbags, front-seat belt pretensioners and load limiters protect occupants in an accident. Avoiding the crash in the first place is helped by stability control plus anti-lock brakes with emergency Brake Assist and electronic front-rear brakeforce distribution.

There are no Euro NCAP crash test results yet; the bigger Swift, which forms the basis of the Splash, has four stars.

Remote central locking is also standard.
