Safety and Security

When Euro NCAP last tested the Grand Vitara in 2007 it scored four out of the maximum five stars for adult occupancy protection in NCAP's rigorous crash testing regime. For child protection it scored three stars (out of five) and a fine three stars (out of four) for pedestrian protection.

The 2.4-litre comes standard with ESP and six airbags.
