The Legacy might be too bland for some, but it's an equally impressive all-rounder for executive motorway cruising or family load-lugging. Very able.
Four-wheel drive keeps the Legacy on the road in difficult circumstances; there's ABS on all but the base LX Classic, though no traction control. The airbag provision isn't to German standards, but there are driver and passenger airbags as standard fit, while side airbags are optional on the 2.5 GX and Outback. There's no factory-fit alarm, but an immobiliser is part of the deal.
