Smart fortwo Review

Safety and Security4 out of 5

A plethora of safety equipment is specified as standard on all trim levels, including ESP traction control, ABS brakes with hydraulic brake assist (applies full brakeforce in an emergency stop) and driver and passenger airbags (side 'bags are optional). In the event of an accident, an integrated crash sensor automatically illuminates the hazard and interior lights to increase your visibility - a hazard-warning triangle is also supplied, but notably there is no spare wheel. An immobiliser and remote central locking are also standard.
