Smart fortwo Review

Overview3 out of 5

The Smart's a novel motoring concept: it only has two seats, plus some luggage space, making it a short car that can fit into a parking bay end-on so it only takes up half as much space as a normal car.

The Smart is available in two bodystyles - Coupe (hardtop) and Cabrio, with a choice of three power outputs and four trim levels. The 698cc three-cylinder turbocharged engine produces 50bhp (only available on Pure Coupe), 61bhp or 74bhp (in Brabus models). The Smart Cabrio Pure is the cheapest convertible car available in the UK.

This model was called the City Coupe but has been renamed ForTwo, because of Smart's small four-seater, called the ForFour.
