For something with such diminutive proportions the Smart has returned an incredible result in the Euro NCAP crash tests, returning a fine four stars for adult occupant protection. Thing is, many of its more practical larger alternatives now come standard with a five star performance.
It's also disappointing that Smart still charges £195 for side airbags.
An immobiliser is standard.
