Despite its age a fine all rounder, and for the enthusiast driver, one of the best.

Review

Running Costs2.5 out of 5

The 306 costs slightly less than average to run - depreciation is middling, servicing and insurance costs are less than usual and fuel consumption is average. The 306 is well equipped - power steering and anti-lock brakes are standard - and competitively priced. But the dated interior does not look as classy as the VW Golf's or Rover 200's.
