Price is the main attraction.
The Blazer makes for a good cheap workhorse, and comes up a bit cheaper than, say, a Nissan Patrol or Mitsubishi Shogun. Prices currently range between £2,000-£5,000, depending on mileage and condition, and a decent Blazer shouldn't drop too much in value now unless a new tax regime makes running a large 4x4 even more expensive than it is already.
