The Seat marque came joint third in the 2002 Which? reliability survey and the car was joint second, so it's a fundamentally durable car and seems fairly reliable. Five years' European roadside assistance comes in the price. Our user tests consist of very happy buyers, but some report minor niggles and suggest that the dealer network can be a bit hit-and-miss. The facia is derived from the Audi A3 and mechanicals are mostly VAG parts.
