Saab Turbo X Review

Running Costs3 out of 5

The Turbo X won't be a cheap car to run: an official fuel consumption figure of 26.4mpg (26.2 for the SportWagon) equates to around 20mpg in the real world. That 2.8-litre V6 is a thirsty beast.

CO2 emissions of 254g/kg (258g/km SportWagon) puts the car in the highest road tax band (G) and will mean shelling out £25 a day if you enter the London Congestion Charge zone from October 2008.

Saab dealers don't tend to be the cheapest around, but prices for servicing and parts are more affordable than at BMW, Audi and Mercedes franchises. There are also a number of very well-respected independent specialists you can use.
