Saab Turbo X Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

The latest Saab 9-3 hasn't been tested by Euro NCAP yet, but the previous iteration bagged five stars for adult occupants, three for children and one for pedestrians.

However, Saab has always stressed that it designs its cars to survive well in real-life accidents as well as laboratory conditions, a claim consistently backed by statistics from all over the world involving data on fatalities and occupant injuries.

Standard equipment includes active head restraints, front, side and full-length roof-mounted airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners.

To help avoid an accident, there's the full range of electronic aids (ESP, ABS, etc) as well as bi-xenon cornering-beam headlamps and tyre pressure monitoring.
