This is a market segment dominated by the Germans. BMW and Mercedes have got the executive saloon down to a fine art, but Saab never quite seemed to get the hang of it. Until the 9-5, that is. This car is built for comfort, with a very pleasing interior and excellent seats. In fact, the chassis set-up may be a little over-relaxing for keen drivers.
