Saab 9-3 (1998-2002) Review

Category: Compact Executive 2 out of 5

Summary of the Saab 9-3 (1998-2002)

Price Range: £19,995 to £28,751

Assets

Individuality, detail design and generous equipment levels, room, comfort and safety equipment. Turbo engines very effective.

Drawbacks

Pricey, and a little inspirationless to drive. Quality not top-notch.

Verdict

In 9-3 guise (this model was previously badged 900 and has been around for quite some years) Saab's smallest can no longer match the class best.

Saab 9 3 Review

Reliability and Quality3 out of 5

Saabs are nicely made, but fall short of German quality. Breakdowns are rare, but don't be surprised at the odd rattle or minor malfunction.
