Saab 9-3 (2007-) Review

Category: Large Family 4 out of 5

Summary of the Saab 9-3 (2007-)

Price Range: £19,995 to £28,751

Assets

Distinctive image; excellent new diesel engine; E85 option; well-designed cabin; value for money.

Drawbacks

Thirsty petrol engines.

Verdict

Substantially updated and ever more powerful, the Saab 9-3 can be a great drive as well as a practical, safe and sensible purchase. A very nicely thought-out all-rounder.

Saab 9 3 Review

Used Value3.5 out of 5

Though demand on the second-hand market is strong, it just doesn't hold its value quite as well as the 3-Series, C-Class and A4, or certain popular Passat variants (the diesel estates, in particular). The Sportwagon should be an increasingly popular second-hand buy, however, and the TTiD should be especially desirable.
