Insufficient wind isolation with roof down, modest performance, rear legroom.

Verdict

A beautifully engineered wealth statement which doesn't quite deliver on the promise of its appearance.

Rolls Royce Phantom Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

Is there a convertible you'd rather have a big accident in? The Drophead has the usual complement of airbags, pop-up rollover protection and active safety features you'd expect of any upmarket convertible, let alone one costing more than the average house. But we're just as persuaded by its massive construction. Frankly if you were heading for disaster in a Drophead, you might be more worried about those inside the car you were going to hit than yourself.
