Roomy, well equipped, some great engines; Grand Scenic is more flexible, Conquest is a blast to drive.
Lifeless steering, bulky.
Excellent way to transport your family.

All the space and the supportive, sumptuous, fully adjustable seats make the Scenic's cabin a comfortable place. Soundproofing was improved as part of the 2006 freshen-up, which is a welcome improvement as the smaller engines would get loud if you pushed them hard.
The cabin space isn't just plentiful - it's well designed space. The boot - for five-seat models, anyway - is generous, the rear seat will happily accommodate a couple of adults (though not two adults plus a child seat) and there's loads of head- and legroom for everyone, especially in four-seat configuration (achieved by removing the rear centre seat and sliding the two outer seats away from the doors).
Storage facilities include front and rear under-floor compartments, storage trays under the front seats (or a CD autochanger, depending on spec level) and door nets.
Every Scenic comes with electrically operated heated mirrors, aircraft-style tables that fold into the seatbacks, one-touch front windows, automatic wipers and a trip computer.
Expression spec adds a single-CD audio system, electric rear windows, air conditioning, a cooled glovebox, automatic headlights, a folding front passenger seat with a table built into the back, and an extra mirror for watching the kids.
The big-selling Dynamique trim level features 16" alloy wheels and leather on the steering wheel and gear knob, while Privilege spec brings a six-CD autochanger, part-leather upholstery and a sliding central storage unit to complement the large glovebox.
