Roomy, well equipped, some great engines; Grand Scenic is more flexible, Conquest is a blast to drive.
Lifeless steering, bulky.
Excellent way to transport your family.

In the Euro NCAP crash tests the Scenic scores five out of five for adult occupant protection, three out of five for child occupant protection and two out of four for pedestrian protection. (The Grand Scenic is not rated separately.) That's better than many competitors, and identical to the Citroen C4 Picasso, but the newer Seat Altea beats it with scores of five, four and three.
Standard kit includes twin front and side airbags, side curtain 'bags, three-point seatbelts for all, seatbelt pretensioners on front and outer rear seats, three-point Isofix child seat mounting points on the front passenger seat and outer rear seats, and anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and emergency brake assistance to keep up the pressure.
Options include Sleep Safe headrests, which keep a dozing child's head upright and help protect it in a side impact.
Security-wise, you get remote central locking with an ignition card instead of a key, deadlocks, an immobiliser and - on Dynamique spec and upwards - an alarm.
