In the 2008 JD Power Customer Satisfaction survey, the Scenic/Grand Scenic finished 88th out of 100 models - a result no doubt the French carmaker will not be proud of, but Renault's recent obsession with quality and bulletproof reliability should hopefully turn things around with the new model.
Inside at least, the firm already has. The Scenic's perceived quality leaps forward. All the materials are a world away from the last model and genuinely feel on a par with Volkswagen, if not Audi.
