Renault Laguna Coupe Review

Comfort and Equipment4 out of 5

We were alarmed at the amount of fidgeting the Laguna Coupe's ride suffered on some of the Portuguese road surfaces we drove on. The suspension isn't too stiff, though, with our car showing some pliancy and suppleness over bigger bumps.

Standard equipment for the Laguna Coupe range is generous, with even base models boasting 18" alloys, Bluetooth hands-free, parking sensors and xenon lamps as well as eight airbags.

Spend £2,000 more for the range-topping GT and it adds the four-wheel steer 4Control steering, as well as cruise control, leather seats and keyless drive.

The only disappointment is that sat nav is not standard on any version, costing an extra £975 (£1,750 for 3D version). Heated seats are also a £300 option.
