Without any track record for making 4x4s in this segment, the Koleos will be an unknown when it eventually hits the used marketplace.
Residual value experts have yet estimated future used values, but Renault is hoping its 4x4 follows in the tyre tracks of some its recent French rivals. The Citroen C-Crosser and 4007 both return up to 52% of their value after three years and 30,000 miles. But beware, both Peugeot and Citroen are limited to just 1,500 cars a year so any oversupply by Renault could reduce the Koleos' resale values.
