Category: Large Executive 4 out of 5

Summary of the Porsche Panamera (2009-)

Price Range: £72,266 to £95,298

Assets

Towering performance of Turbo version, great stability, direct steering.

Drawbacks

Styling won't appeal to everyone, size limits agility, not as spacious as it could be.

Verdict

The Panamera is the most dynamic four-door you can buy.

Porsche Panamera Review

Running Costs3 out of 5

The good news is that the Panamera is as economical as any petrol car with this level of performance. All the PDK-equipped models (which will account for at least 90% of sales) consume between 23.2 and 26.2mpg on the combined cycle - although real-world driving will undoubtedly mean lower figures that these.

CO2 emissions are in the range of 253-286g/km, so at £405 per year, road tax won't be cheap.

Servicing costs will, of course, be punishing.
