Porsche Panamera Review

Safety and Security5 out of 5

With superbly progressive ESP, ABS, loads of grip and excellent stability, the Panamera has plenty of tricks up its sleeve to keep you out of trouble.

If the worst does happen, there's an extremely rigid passenger cell and the advantage of being a long way from the impact: from both the front and the side, there are few cars that position you so far away from danger.

There are also eight airbags, Isofix child seat mounting points, seatbelt pre-tensioners and a rollover protection system.

For pedestrians, the active bonnet that rises to prevent them hitting their heads on the hard mechanicals makes the Panamera one of the less terrible accident prospects.

Every Panamera gets a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), a vehicle security package approved to Thatcham Category 5 standard.
