Impressive on-road performance, exemplary body control with the PDCC system, fantastic engines.
Expensive, thirsty - and not exactly kind to the environment.
An improvement on the original, but will still be hated by many.

Well, it was never going to be good was it? With three high-performance petrol engines to choose from, the Cayenne isn't exactly going to be cheapest car to run.
Official combined fuel consumption figures see the V6 return 21.9mpg, the V8 20.6mpg and the V8 Turbo 19mpg. Porsche is keen to point out that during its own higher-speed economy runs, the Cayenne actually returns up to 15% more miles per gallon. Even so, you're looking at around 20mpg overall, much less if you spend a lot of time in traffic.
CO2 emissions range from 310g/km for the V6 to 358g/km for the V8 and V8 Turbo.
The Cayenne is undoubtedly an expensive car and Porsche has a policy of never discounting its cars. Anyone looking at the Turbo should bear in mind that you could buy two V6 versions for the price of the Turbo and still have some change left over to fill them up.
