The Cayenne is built to Porsche's usual standards, with high-quality materials featuring inside and an impressive build quality on the outside. There have been reports of minor problems on some early-build Cayennes, but nothing that should get you too worried.
Engines and gearboxes are developments on the units used since 2002 and, despite the engines in particular having been heavily revised, there is nothing to suggest these wouldn't provide fault-free operation for years to come.
