Porsche 911 (1997-2002) Review

Category: Exotic Sports 4 out of 5

Summary of the Porsche 911 (1997-2002)

Price Range: £61,744 to £128,307

Assets

Amazing performance, yet it still manages to be completely practical. All that plus a sky-high image.

Drawbacks

Not much, but the interior quality is not quite top-notch.

Verdict

Very mature, like most of its customers. The sensible supercar.

Porsche 911 Review

Comfort and Equipment3.5 out of 5

Unlike previous 911 cabins, this model's is a rather nice place to be, with a good driving position and instrument/control layout, especially as the ventilation system also works well. The low speed ride is smooth, like a more ordinary car. The 911 has a reasonable amount of room for occupants and their luggage, especially as the rear seats fold forward. But backbenchers will still be cramped. There's a quality radio/cassette with the RDS traffic information system.
