Amazing performance, yet it still manages to be completely practical. All that plus a sky-high image.
Not much, but the interior quality is not quite top-notch.
Very mature, like most of its customers. The sensible supercar.

Reassuringly expensive to own as main dealer costs are so high, but that is the only way to help a 911 retain its incredibly high resale value. Almost a blue chip investment. Pricey group 20 insurance is another drawback and miles per gallon hovers around 28mpg. The best way to buy a 911. Somebody else deals with the worst of the depreciation, you get a sure-fire classic that will hold its value strongly. Not cheap to maintain and service though, especially at main Porsche dealers. The 911's starting price of, while expensive, is not extortionate considering its perfomance and quality. With high residual value and good warranty taken into account, a 911 becomes pretty good value - for a supercar.
