Porsche 911 (1997-2002) Review

Category: Exotic Sports 4 out of 5

Summary of the Porsche 911 (1997-2002)

Price Range: £63,070 to £131,070

Assets

Amazing performance, yet it still manages to be completely practical. All that plus a sky-high image.

Drawbacks

Not much, but the interior quality is not quite top-notch.

Verdict

Very mature, like most of its customers. The sensible supercar.

Porsche 911 Review

Overview4 out of 5

The 911 is one of the most expensive sports coupes, and one of the most accomplished - it is a thoroughly practical car for every day use, and completely exhilarating on the open road. The current 911 is bigger, faster and more powerful than any 911 before it, and noticeably easier to drive too. Arguably it has been refined and reworked into the finest performance car on sale. What makes it so special is that it is so usable. A truly practical supercar. Replaced by a facelifted model in 2002, see separate review.
