Porsche 911 (2004-) Review

Category: Exotic Sports 5 out of 5

Summary of the Porsche 911 (2004-)

Price Range: £99,920 to £131,070

Assets

Fabulous driver's car, practical and easy to use supercar, best looking modern 911 yet.

Drawbacks

Gently evolutionary styling makes it look a bit too much like the older model. That's about it.

Verdict

Just when you think they can't make the 911 better, they do. The advance isn't huge, but the previous car wasn't exactly lacking.

Porsche 911 Review

Reliability and Quality4 out of 5

The 911 has always been regarded as one of the most robust supercars ever built, and the new 911 shouldn't be any different. The engines, for example, are proven units, which have been updated rather than replaced with all-new items. But while the strength of the 911 is beyond question, the stresses and strains of such an enormously quick and dynamically capable car do mean that wear rates on components such as brake pads and suspension bushings will be higher than average for those who use the car's potential.
