Sensational poise and precision, aural delight, staggering performance and sensible price.
Low front splitter, expensive options, overt looks too much for some.
The most athletic, sharpest, lightweight 911 is undoubtedly the best - and it now comes with fewer compromises.

Three stars here is relative, the GT3 actually offering remarkable comfort for something that's so focused. It might not be loaded with executive toys like radar-guided cruise control or heated seats, but the exotic motorsport materials and know-how more than make up for this.
It's comfortable with the standard seats, but the tighter fixed-back sports seats make it a hassle to get in and out, and are a bit neat for the larger framed driver.
Coming as standard with air conditioning, electric windows and a stereo you really couldn't ask for more, but if you want it Porsche will fit it. Porsche generously offers the Clubsport option free of charge too, the half cage being fitted in the rear and the racing harnesses, fire extinguisher and battery isolator arriving in a box in the footwell for dealer fitment should you want them.
It's a shame that the front axle lift kit isn't standard as it's essential if you really want to use your GT3, and although Porsche offers carbon ceramic brakes and a sport chrono kit on the options list you really don't need them.
