Sensational poise and precision, aural delight, staggering performance and sensible price.
Low front splitter, expensive options, overt looks too much for some.
The most athletic, sharpest, lightweight 911 is undoubtedly the best - and it now comes with fewer compromises.

The 911 GT3's running costs are more than acceptable for a supercar. Its 22.4mpg fuel consumption - while not likely to win you a lifetime membership for Greenpeace - is impressive for something that offers such pace.
The one repeated expense for previous GT3 owners was the replacement of the leading edge of the front splitter after destroying it on speed bumps, garage forecourt exits and so on. Porsche now offer an optional front axle lift kit that lifts the front to the level of the standard Carrera, helping to negotiate bumps and dips in the road. It's not cheap but will save you money in the long-run.
Porsche servicing costs are way lower than its exotic rivals, the GT3 not costing much more than a standard 911 to own and run.
