Sensational poise and precision, aural delight, staggering performance and sensible price.
Low front splitter, expensive options, overt looks too much for some.
The most athletic, sharpest, lightweight 911 is undoubtedly the best - and it now comes with fewer compromises.

Porsche has an impressive record for reliability, with the 911 known as a supercar that really can be used everyday. That's particularly true of the GT3 - not despite but because of its specialist nature. Its powertrain is designed to put up with the rigours of endurance racing - including the tortuous Le Mans 24 hours race.
The interior feels incredibly solid. The fit and finish inside and out is impeccable - the phase 2 enhancements to the 997 series cars have removed some of the iffier plastic finishes from the 911's interior.
Porsche has been building the 911 for years and it learned a lot from Toyota in the 80s about how to do it properly. More than anything else in its class you can be sure of turn-key reliability, the GT3 not so highly strung and potentially troublesome as some of its Italian competition.
