Porsche 911 GT3 (2009-) Review

Category: Exotic Sports 5 out of 5

Summary of the Porsche 911 GT3 (2009-)

Price Range: £61,744 to £128,307

Assets

Sensational poise and precision, aural delight, staggering performance and sensible price.

Drawbacks

Low front splitter, expensive options, overt looks too much for some.

Verdict

The most athletic, sharpest, lightweight 911 is undoubtedly the best - and it now comes with fewer compromises.

Porsche 911 Review

Used Value4 out of 5

Even Porsche's specials are now no longer able to avoid depreciation thanks to our crippled economy, but the GT3 should still fare better than most 911s. Keenly sought after by enthusiasts, good used GT3s can go for top money.

In some respects the GT3 has become a victim of its own success, the relatively low list price and large number of cars Porsche sells allowing buyers lots of choice - with the obvious effect on used prices. But it's a strong player and you're unlikely to ever want to sell it anyway.
