The sportiest 308 yet is not really that hot, but it's usable and cheap to run.

Peugeot 308 Review

Comfort and Equipment3 out of 5

The 308 might be an accomplished warm hatch, but it's not cheap. With prices starting at £18,995 it comes up against more powerful, 'hotter' competition. However, the GT fights back with an impressively long list of standard equipment.

Bi-xenon headlamps for example are standard, as are rear parking sensors, 18" wheels, tyre pressure sensors and Bluetooth handsfree, as well as the large panoramic glass roof.

It's pretty comfortable too. This, the most focused sporting 308 yet, actually rides better than the existing diesel thanks to slightly softer springs and inside there's plenty of space both in the front and rear.

So it's good for tall people, but like other 308s the small hatch has an awkward boot lip that makes such operations as pram stowage awkward.
