Nissan Navara (2002-) Review

Category: Pick-ups 3.5 out of 5

Summary of the Nissan Navara (2002-)

Price Range: £19,245 to £26,795

Assets

Chunky styling, loads of torque, towing ability, adept off-road

Drawbacks

Impractical around town, if you need to go there, overdone styling

Verdict

It's a good compromise between a family 4x4 and a working vehicle, although it does seem a shame to get it dirty

Nissan X-TRAIL Review

Reliability and Quality4 out of 5

Nissan makes very reliable vehicles, and the Navara is based on well-proven technology. Should truck on for years and years if properly maintained, although some of the fancy chrome bits may not last as well if you get down and dirty in tough conditions, and the velour seats will get tatty quickly if you're going to stick sheep in the cabin (normal practice for vets and farmers, we're told). The Navara is not likely to get worked as hard as the lower-spec PickUps, but may still have led a tough life, so check out condition thoroughly when buying secondhand.
