Nissan Murano Review

Safety and Security3 out of 5

Since the Nissan Murano is sold in limited numbers, there is no Euro NCAP rating. Instead the firm points towards the Murano's decent performance in US crash tests, which are pretty stringent.

The Murano offers six airbags, front seatbelts with pretensioners, active head restraints, tyre pressure monitors and child seat anchor points (Isofix in the UK).

All-wheel drive means the Murano has a Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system with yaw, wheel slip and steering angle sensors plus the standard ESP and ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD).
