Mini John Cooper Works Review

Reliability and Quality4 out of 5

The JCW models are now made on the mainstream Mini production lines, and should be as reliable as any other Mini. Though the first-generation models could be quite troublesome, in recent years most mechanical gremlins have been cured and owners have reported little more than niggling faults with fit and finish; some of the interior detailing and plastics are rather cheap-feeling for a car this price.

Mini has lately ranked 8th in the JD Power survey of manufacturers, and 24th out of 100 in the model-table.
