Active Body Control joined ABS and stability control in the electronic armoury spring 2008, along with adaptive brake lights and adaptive-beam headlights. Front and side head- and thorax-protecting airbags are fitted, plus automatically-deploying pop-up roll bars, seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiters, bi-xenon headlights, an alarm and immobiliser.
The hard-top will offer more protection roof-up than an old-school canvas hood, too.
