The non-Black Series CLK 63 AMG returns 48% of its value three years and 30,000 miles down the road. A fine result considering a Porsche 911 GT3 RS only commands 35% over a similar amount of time and mileage.
Predicted values for the more exclusive AMG model are less certain. Its rarity may prop up values and, early on, may even see Black Series models command a premium.
But be warned: used buyers may be less willing to stomach the £30,000 price premium over the regular model, causing values to dip below 48% of its retained value.
