Unlike many coupes it actually seats four. It is never less than refined and is still a fairly rare sight due to heavy demand around the globe
Prices are high as you would expect. The waiting list is also unexpectedly long too
Not the sports car that some buyers want, but they can buy elsewhere. Few coupes have this much class

Nicely weighted controls with quality action create a first class feel. Automatic transmission is standard on the V6, making progress even easier. A stress free way to get around town - or between continents. The CLK is pleasurable rather than fun, but to a very satisfying degree. It takes to a grand touring role very easily, yet can be sporty when required, producing minimal body roll in corners, and displaying plenty of grip.
The entry level 2.0 litre 200 model is very slow for the money, although its top speed is a respectable 129mph. The supercharged 230K is very responsive (if a bit gruff) and is probably the best power unit in the range, even if the more expensive and creamily refined 3.2 V6 is marginally quicker.
