Mercedes Benz CLK (1997-2002) Review

Category: Compact Executive 3.5 out of 5

Summary of the Mercedes Benz CLK (1997-2002)

Price Range: £33,411 to £68,923

Assets

Unlike many coupes it actually seats four. It is never less than refined and is still a fairly rare sight due to heavy demand around the globe

Drawbacks

Prices are high as you would expect. The waiting list is also unexpectedly long too

Verdict

Not the sports car that some buyers want, but they can buy elsewhere. Few coupes have this much class

Mercedes CLK-Class Cabriolet Review

Overview3.5 out of 5

The CLK is certainly one of the more expensive coupes, though not Mercedes' priciest - it's the latest in a long line of stylish, practical and beautifully made Mercedes coupes. The CLK errs towards comfort rather than sportiness, and the long waiting list is proof that Mercedes has got the combination just right. A large range of option packs and three engines means there is a CLK to suit many pockets and desires. A great continental kilometre eater.
