Maserati GranTurismo S (2008-) Review

Category: Exotic Sports 4 out of 5

Summary of the Maserati GranTurismo S (2008-)

Price Range: No data available

Assets

Achingly beautiful, phenomenal sounding and surprisingly able four-seat GT.

Drawbacks

Gearbox still a sticking point for some, steering too edgy at straight ahead position, seat height and support.

Verdict

Addition of the S to the GranTurismo boosts its sporting appeal significantly.

Safety and Security4 out of 5

Unsurprisingly, the GranTurismo S comes with all the safety equipment of its sibling, so there are dual-stage front airbags, side and head airbags for the front seats, Isofix child seat fittings in the rear and seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters front and back.

Traction and stability systems, ABS and adaptive xenon headlamps should all help keep things safe, while a Navtrak tracking and driver recognition security system should keep light-fingered admirers from getting away with it.
