Lexus LS 600h Review

Comfort and Equipment5 out of 5

It's very comfortable and very well equipped. In a return to the old Lexus habit, there will be no choice of spec level for the LS600h: it comes with virtually everything as standard, including a fantastic Mark Levinson audio-visual set-up. The long-wheelbase version can be had with either two or three seats in the rear. If you go for the two-seater, you enter an even more incredible world of pampering.

The short- and long-wheelbase versions have the same boot capacity, 330 litres, which is a significant 175 litres less than the LS460's boot, demoting it from one of the biggest in the class to by far the smallest. It's all down to the Ni-MH battery that's part of the hybrid system.

There are sunblinds for the rear windows, double glazing, a DVD player (or two if you go for the two-rear-seat option), and the air con is exemplary, front and rear. The car will also help you manoeuvre into a parking space.
