Price, engines, estate.
On the small side.
Fiat has never been renowned for its bigger cars, but it has done well with this one. Shame so few people have noticed.

The Marea is a competitively priced and very underrated alternative to slightly larger rivals, such as the Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Vectra. It has a lively set of engines, and the estate, though not all that long, is well designed and versatile. In the end, however, its perceived smaller size counts against it, for buyers in the family car sector are looking for practicality, and making the most of their money. Derived from the more popular Bravo/Brava range, the Marea hasn't sold well - but through no real fault of its own.
